Deed acreage counts the house and the driveway. The number you fertilize, water, and seed against is the turf only. Find your address, trace each patch of grass, and the areas add up.
Zones drawn
Click each corner of a lawn area, then click your first point again to close it. Draw the front, back, and side as separate zones — follow the grass edge and leave the drive, patio, and beds outside your outline. Tracing a zone needs a mouse or a touch screen — it isn't keyboard-operable yet.
How to trace your yard
Trace the turf, not the lot
Follow the grass edge, not the property line. Where the lawn runs under a tree canopy, trace where you know the turf ends — the imagery will not show you the ground.
Measure zones, not the yard
Front and back rarely get the same program — different sun, different irrigation, different mowing height. Draw them as separate zones so each one carries its own rate.
Go around the hardscape
Driveway, patio, pool, and beds are not turf. Route your outline around them, or split the lawn into two zones on either side — an outline that swallows a 400 ft² patio has you buying product you can't put down.
