LawnDominator Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes acceptable and prohibited uses of LawnDominator's website, mobile applications, APIs, AI features, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This AUP is incorporated into the LawnDominator Terms of Use. By using the Services, you agree to comply with this policy.

Use the Services Responsibly

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this AUP.

You are responsible for your account and any activity performed using it.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Upload or distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious software.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or data.
  • Interfere with the operation, availability, or security of the Services.
  • Circumvent authentication, access controls, subscription limits, or usage restrictions.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without our prior written authorization.
  • Use automated tools to disrupt or degrade the Services.
  • Impersonate another person or organization.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users or LawnDominator personnel.
  • Submit fraudulent or intentionally misleading information.

Automation and Bots

Reasonable automation that interacts with the Services as intended is permitted.

You may not use bots, scripts, or automated systems to:

  • Create accounts in bulk.
  • Circumvent rate limits or subscription restrictions.
  • Overload or degrade the Services.
  • Harvest information from other users.
  • Abuse AI or API functionality.
  • Generate excessive or unreasonable automated traffic.

We may implement rate limits or technical controls to protect the Services.

Scraping and Data Collection

Unless expressly authorized by LawnDominator, you may not:

  • Scrape or systematically download data from the Services.
  • Mirror or reproduce substantial portions of the Services.
  • Build competing databases using data obtained from the Services.
  • Use automated tools to extract information beyond normal product functionality.

Nothing in this policy prohibits lawful indexing by recognized search engines where permitted.

AI Features

If the Services include AI-powered functionality, you may not use those features to:

  • Generate unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive content.
  • Attempt to extract prompts, model weights, system instructions, or confidential implementation details.
  • Circumvent safety features or usage limits.
  • Perform excessive automated prompt generation intended to consume disproportionate computing resources.

LawnDominator may monitor AI usage patterns solely to protect the reliability and security of the Services.

APIs and Integrations

If LawnDominator provides APIs, webhooks, SDKs, or integrations, you agree to:

  • Follow all published documentation.
  • Respect authentication requirements.
  • Protect API credentials.
  • Implement reasonable security practices.
  • Honor applicable rate limits.
  • Promptly report known security vulnerabilities.

API access may be suspended if it negatively impacts the stability or security of the Services.

Security Research

We appreciate responsible security research.

However, you may not perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, exploitation attempts, or other security testing against LawnDominator systems without our prior written authorization.

We ask that you provide us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address the issue before publicly disclosing it.

User Content

You remain responsible for all content you upload.

You may not upload content that:

  • Violates another person's rights.
  • Contains malicious software.
  • Is unlawful or fraudulent.
  • Is intended to interfere with the operation of the Services.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates this policy.

Fair Use

The Services are designed for normal individual and business use.

Activity that consumes excessive bandwidth, storage, compute resources, API requests, AI requests, or other infrastructure beyond what would reasonably be expected for your subscription level may be limited, throttled, or suspended to protect the Services for all users.

Enforcement

We may investigate violations of this AUP.

If we reasonably believe this policy has been violated, we may, with or without prior notice:

  • Remove content.
  • Limit or throttle access.
  • Suspend features.
  • Temporarily suspend accounts.
  • Permanently terminate accounts.
  • Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.
  • Pursue any other remedies available under applicable law.

Nothing in this policy obligates LawnDominator to monitor user activity.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.

The updated version will become effective when posted with a revised Effective Date.

Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
